I am to state that the Provincial Assembly of Sindh in its sitting held on Tuesday, the 08^th September, 2026 has passed the following Resolution No. 26; given notice of by Mr. Muhammad Farooq, MPA:

وطن عزیز پاکستان میں ایک جانب بے قابو مہنگائی نے عام شہریوں کے لیے زندگی کو ایک بوجھ بنا دیا ہے، ایسے حالات میں وفاقی حکومت  کی جانب سے پیٹرولیم کی  اصل قیمت کے علاوہ پیٹرولیم لیوی اور دوسری مدات میں وصولیاں افسوسناک ہیں ۔

اس وقت پیٹرول کی اصل قیمت مع کسٹم ڈیوٹی 238.70 روپے بنتی ہے مگر حکومت کی جانب سے اس قیمت کے علاوہ پیٹرولیم لیوی 80 روپے، ماحولیاتی لیوی 5 روپے جبکہ مختلف مارجن کے نام پر 25.3 روپے فی لیٹر وصول کیے جا رہے ہیں ان اضافی وصولیوں سے نہ صرف پیٹرول اور ڈیزل مزید مہنگا ہوا ہے بلکہ مہنگائی میں بھی اسی تناسب سے مزید اضافہ ہوا ہے جو پاکستان کے 95 فیصد مہنگائی کے بوجھ تلے دبے ہوئے عوام پر شدید ظلم کے مترادف ہے۔

لہٰذا  یہ ایوان اس قرار داد کے ذریعے مطالبہ کرتا ہے کہ وفاقی حکومت لیوی اور دیگر مدات میں وصولیاں فوری بند کرکے عوام کو فوری ریلیف فراہم کرے۔
