Consul General Dr. Maher Mjhid Jejan presented the Speaker with a portrait of the Lion of Babylon, a 2,600-year-old basalt sculpture and a major symbol of Iraq’s ancient civilization and cultural identity.
The meeting was also attended by Vice Consul General Feng Deheng, while Secretary Provincial Assembly of Sindh G.M. Umar Farooq and Director General Media Irfan Ahmed Memon accompanied the Speaker Provincial Assembly of Sindh.
The Speaker also presented Consul General Yang Yundong with the Legacy Shield of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh, a traditional Sindhi Ajrak and Sindhi Cap, as well as books on the history of Sindh and the Provincial Assembly of Sindh.
