I am to state that the Provincial Assembly of Sindh in its sitting held on Friday, the 22^nd May, 2026 has unanimously passed the following Resolution moved by Mr. Zia ul Hassan, Minister for Law, Parliamentary Affairs & Criminal Prosecution and Home, Sindh and Mr. Ali Khurshidi, MPA/ Leader of Opposition, Provincial Assembly of Sindh:

RESOLUTION TO COMMEMORATE 75 YEARS OF DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS BETWEEN PAKISTAN AND CHINA.

The Provincial Assembly of Sindh, on the occasion of 75^th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China:

Recognizes with profound appreciation the completion of seventy-five years of diplomatic relations between the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the People’s Republic of China founded upon mutual trust, sovereign equality, strategic cooperation and enduring friendship.

Acknowledges that since the establishment of diplomatic ties in 1951, Pakistan and China have consistently supported each other on matters of national interest and have strengthened bilateral relations through cooperation in trade, infrastructure, defense, education, technology, culture, and people-to-people exchanges.

Pays tribute to visionary leadership and peoples of both countries whose unwavering commitment has transformed the Pakistan-China relationship into an All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership. Particularly through landmark initiatives such as the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), which has significantly contributed to economic development, connectivity, energy generation, and employment opportunities in Pakistan.

Appreciates the continued support extended by the Government and people of China to Pakistan during challenging time, including natural disasters, economic difficulties, and global health emergencies, thereby further strengthening the bonds of brotherhood between the two nations.

Agrees to commemorate and celebrate the seventy-five years of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China with great enthusiasm and national pride;

Reaffirms Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation with China in all fields of mutual interest;

Encourages enhanced parliamentary exchanges, educational collaborations, cultural activities, youth engagement, and economic partnerships between the two friendly countries.
