Subject:     RESOLUTION. 

                 I am to state that the Provincial Assembly of Sindh in its sitting held on Friday the 25^th July, 2025 has unanimously passed the following Resolution moved by Ms. Sadia Javed, MPA/ Parliamentary Secretary for Planning & Development Department:

“This House strongly condemns the cruel murder of a couple in Balochistan, as shown in a widely shared video. This brutal act is a clear attack on human dignity and a serious violation of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. So-called 'honor’ killings, often explained by wrong cultural or tribal beliefs, go against Islamic teachings, basic human rights, and the law.

This House urges the Provincial Government of Balochistan to start a full and fair investigation, make sure that all those involved are quickly punished, and bring useful legal changes to end 'honour' crimes and ban illegal tribal systems, including jirgas.”.
