I am to state that the Provincial Assembly of Sindh in its sitting held on Tuesday, the 20^th May, 2025 has unanimously passed the following Resolution moved by Mr. Sikandar Ali Shoro, MPA: 

“Sindh is the largest producer of natural gas in Pakistan and as per the Article 158 of Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Province has the first right over its natural Gas. Despite being the largest producer of Gas, Sindh Province is facing severe Gas load shedding, causing immense hardship to people;

Therefore, this Assembly resolves and recommends to the Government of Sindh to approach the Federal Government to take immediate measures to ensure that Sindh receive its due share of Gas and load Shedding is ended forthwith.
