Subject:        RESOLUTION.

I am to state that the Provincial Assembly of Sindh in its sitting held on Monday the 16^th September, 2024 has unanimously passed the following Resolution moved by Mr. Muhammad Farooq, MPA:

"تحفظ ختمِ نبوت ہمارا ایمان ہے، عقیدہ ختمِ نبوت دین اسلام کی بنیاد ہے۔

اس عقیدے سے اسلام کا وقار و جمال وابستہ ہے، ساڑھے چودہ سو سال سےمسلمان اس عقیدے کے تحفظ کے لئے بہت حساس رہے ہیں۔ مسلمان اپنے پیارے نبیکریمﷺ  کی عزت وآبرو پر جان نچھاور کرتے رہے ہیں۔ بالآخر 7 ستمبر 1974ء کو مسلمانوں کی جدوجہد رنگ لائی۔ قادیانی غیرمسلم اقلیت قراردیئے گئے۔ قومی اسمبلی نے تاریخ ساز فیصلہ کیا اس آئینی فیصلے کے مطابق قادیانی دائرہ اسلام سے خارج ہیں۔

اس بابرکت فیصلے کو 50 سال مکمل ھوچکے ہیں لیکن آج بھی اس حساس معاملے پر سازشیں جاری ہیں۔ یہ معزز ایوان ملکِ عزیز پاکستان میں اپنی عظیم تاریخ رکھتا ہے۔ ان تاریخی لمحات کو حکومتی سطح پر اجاگر کرنا ہم سب کی ذمہ داری ہے۔ چناچہ 7 ستمبر 1974ء کے عظیم دن کی خوشی میں 7 ستمبر کے دن کو سندھ حکومت یومِ ختمِ نبوت کے طور پر سرکاری سطح پر منانے کا اعلان کرے۔ “
