                 I am to state that the Provincial Assembly of Sindh in its sitting held on Tuesday, the 21^st May, 2024 has passed the following Resolution given notice of by Mr. Rehan Akram, MPA:

سڑکوں، گلیوں، بازاروں، مساجد، تفریح گاہوں، درگاہوں اور سرکاری دفاتر کے باہر یہاں تک کے ہوٹل، دکانوں بلکہ ہر مقام پر ہمیں بھیک مانگنے والے دکھائی دیتے ہیں، جن کا ایک مکمل منظم نیٹ ورک موجود ہے۔ پاکستان میں گداگری اب ایک مافیا کی صورت اختیا کر چکی ہے۔

پاکستان اور پاکستان سے باہر بھیک مانگنے کا منظم کاروبار ہو رہا ہے۔

جبکہ اس سے سب سے زیادہ متاثر صوبہ سندھ ہے۔

یہ ایوان حکومتِ سندھ سے مطالبہ کرتا ہے کہ گداگری جیسے سماجی عفریت کو فوری طور پر ختم کرنے کے لیے مؤثر اقدامات کیے جائیں اور اس ضمن میں ضروری قانون سازی کرکے اس پیشے سے وابستہ مافیا کے خلاف مؤثر کارروائی عمل میں لائی جائے۔
