Subject:      ADJOURNMENT MOTION NO. 03 OF 2024;GIVEN NOTICE OF BY MS. HEER SOHO, MPA REGARDING INCREASING GAS LOAD SHEDDING IN SINDH

I am to state that the Provincial Assembly of Sindh in its sitting held on Friday, the 24^th January, 2025 discussed the subjected Adjournment Motion [copy attached] and after discussion, the Senior Minister for Transport & Mass Transit, Sindh moved a Substantive Motion, which is reproduced as under:

‘This Assembly is of the opinion that Provincial Government approach Federal Government that the timing of Gas load-shedding be reduced in the Province.’.

The said Substantive Motion was carried unanimously by the House.

02.              The contents of debated Adjournment Motion are hereby forwarded, as required under Rule 93(2) of Rules of Procedure, Provincial Assembly of Sindh, 2013 which provides that ‘After the matter has been discussed, the contents of the debated adjournment motion shall be forwarded to the Cabinet for consideration, through a Substantive Motion’, for further necessary action in this regard.
