                 I am to state that the Provincial Assembly of Sindh in its sitting held on Wednesday, the 22^nd May, 2024 has passed the following Resolution moved by Mr. Khurram Karim Soomro, MPA:

“This House expresses gratitude to Allah Ta’ala for the natural beauty and abundant resources bestowed upon our Nation and acknowledges that it would be difficult to imagine life on earth with a spoiled natural environment. The House resolves to dedicate two days a month for environmental conservation efforts.

“On the first Tuesday and third Sunday of every month, individuals and organizations shall participate in activities such as clean-up efforts, tree planting,and awareness campaigns to address immediate environmental concerns and cultivate a lasting culture of environmental responsibility. This initiative shall be supported by Government bodies, NGOs, businesses, industries, community organizations, educational institutions, and citizens to ensure broad participation and impact.

This Drive aims to engage all people of Sindh, communities and the Government to join hands for Environmental Protection as crucial aspect of our civic duty. This House extends its unwavering support to the Environmental Conservation Drive.”
