Speaker Provincial Assembly of Sindh, represents Sindh Branch at CPA Asia Regional Meeting during the 69th CPA Conference 

Karachi, September 17, 2026: Various important workshops and meetings were held on Wednesday as part of the 69th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference. The workshops focused on parliamentary leadership in promoting climate adaptation and resilience, the current applications and future prospects of artificial intelligence in parliaments, and the role of parliaments in protecting human rights and promoting peace.

The CPA Regional Meeting – Asia was also held, attended by representatives of various CPA branches from across the Asian region. Speaker Provincial Assembly of Sindh Syed Awais Qadir Shah represented the CPA Sindh Branch and addressed the regional meeting. In his remarks, he highlighted matters relating to parliamentary cooperation, shared experiences and issues of mutual interest among CPA branches in the region.

During the meeting, Speaker Provincial Assembly of Sindh Syed Awais Qadir Shah also met with Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and other parliamentary leaders attending the conference. Discussions focused on matters of mutual interest, parliamentary cooperation, and the exchange of experiences.
