Global Peace, Justice and the Protection of Human Rights Are Our Shared Responsibility, Acting Governor Sindh

Karachi, October 24, 2026: Acting Governor Sindh Syed Awais Qadir Shah, in his message on United Nations Day, said that international cooperation and diplomacy are essential to promoting global peace, justice and human rights.

He said that upholding the principles of the United Nations Charter, resolving conflicts peacefully and safeguarding human rights are the shared responsibilities of the international community.

Syed Awais Qadir Shah stated that a just resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute in accordance with relevant United Nations resolutions, along with the protection of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, is essential for lasting peace.

He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to continuing its role in promoting global peace, multilateral cooperation and international justice.
