Addressing the meeting, Speaker Syed Awais Qadir Shah said, “The formation of this special committee to resolve issues related to PST and JEST recruitments is an important step forward. The recruitment of 93,000 teachers on merit is a historic achievement for which the Education Department Sindh deserves appreciation. We have been fully briefed on the available vacancies and candidates on the waiting list. By the next meeting, all data will be thoroughly reviewed; however, there will be no compromise on the quality of education.”

Speaker Syed Awais Qadir Shah directed the Education Department to present a clear and comprehensive strategy in the next meeting to ensure early resolution of the pending matter.

It was decided that the next meeting of the special committee will be held after two weeks, where a final decision will be taken in light of suggestions from all stakeholders.
