Location-wise number of R.O plants installed in the District East Karachi during 2018-2023 along with amount incurred?
ANSWER
MR. MUHAMMAD SALEEM BALOCH, SPECIAL ASSISTANT FOR PUBLIC HEALTH ENGINEERING:-
It is intimated that the installation of R.O Plants/ Filtration Plants in District East, Karachi is not under the mandate of Public Health Engineering and Rural Development Department. Hence, no any R. O. Plant installed in the District East, Karachi during 2018-23 in District East, Karachi.

Number of water supply schemes are operational in Larkana Division as on 01-01-2025?
ANSWER
MR. MUHAMMAD SALEEM BALOCH, SPECIAL ASSISTANT FOR PUBLIC HEALTH ENGINEERING: -
The Larkana Division comprises of five (05)Revenue Districts, namely Larkana, Kamber-Shahdadkot, Jacobabad, Kashmore-Kandhkotand Shikarpur. At present, five (05) Public Health Engineering (O&M) Divisions are functioning in the Division, which are providing drinking water facilities in rural areas.
It is further stated that a total of 124 rural water supply schemes are operational. The details of urban water supply schemes pertaining to Local Councils may be obtained from the concerned agencies through the Local Government Department.
The district-wise breakup of rural water supply schemes maintained by the PHE Department is at Annexure placed on the Table of the House.
