Will the Minister for Auqaf, Zakat and Ushr be pleased to State:-

Total Donation amount received from the various shrines during 2019 to 2020 alongwith utilization of the same?

ANSWER

MR. RIAZ HUSSAIN SHAH SHEERAZI, MINISTER FOR AUQAF, ZAKAT & USHR:

The details of donation (Nazrana) circle wise received from Shrines of Auqaf Department amounting to Rs. 61,058,300/- in the year 2019 and Rs. 28,699,932/- in the year 2020.

There is no utilization of such donation amounts received from Shrines of Auqaf Department Sindh during year 2019 and 2020 as the same have been deposited in Sub account-C03870 non-food Account No. 1 (other) Government of Sindh at State Bank of Pakistan Hyderabad through challan with whole revenue of Auqaf Department as per policy of Government.

Details of donation / Nazrana money for 24 months from January 2019 to December 2020 is at Annexure placed on the Table of the House.

239      *Mr. Muhammad Daniyal:

Will the Minister for Auqaf, Zakat and Ushrbe pleased to State:-

1. Details of the number of projects started in Abdullah Shah Ghazi Shrine from 2018 to 2020 along with the amount incurred;
2. Number of projects completed and ongoing and provide timeline for the completion of the same.

3. Details of the projects under Bhit Shah Beautification plan during the last five years.

ANSWER

MR. RIAZ HUSSAIN SHAH SHEERAZI, MINISTER FOR AUQAF, ZAKAT & USHR:

The Auqaf Department did not carried out any project at Shrine of Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi Clifton, Karachi during the period 2018 to 2020.

The Auqaf Department carried out 08 development works at Shrine Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi, Clifton, Karachi during the year 2022-23 and same were completed in the month of September 2023. Details is at Annexure placed on the Table of the House.

            Project of Bhitshah Beautification plan does not pertain to Auqaf Department.

Name/number of shrines under Auqaaf department in Karachi division alongwith facilities and security arrangements made there by the department?

The detail of Shrines under the control of Auqaf Department Sindh in Karachi division is as under:-

The Auqaf Department provided facilities for Zaireen i.e. Drinking Water, Wazoo Khana, Washrooms and security arrangements i.e. CCTV system and walkthrough gates in different Dargahs. Main security provided by the police.

Repair work carried out at Dargah of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalander, Sachal Sarmast and Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai in Fiscal Year 2021-2022?

The Auqaf Department carried out repair work at Dargah Hazrat Sachal Sarmast during the year 2021-22 as under:-

1. Repair of Lavatory Blocks, white wash at DargahHazratSachalSarmastDaraza Sharif.
2. Repair / Renovation office of Manager AuqafDaraza Sharif.

Will the Minister for Auqaf, Zakat and Ushrbe pleased to State:-

District-wise number of Mosques under the administrative control of Auqaf Department as on 01-09-2024 alongwith amount spent on repair/renovation of each Mosque during financial year 2022-2023?

ANSWER

The Auqaf Department carried out the rehabilitation work of Jamia Masjid Jhol District Sanghar which will be completed by June, 2025. The details of amount spent is at Annexure placed on the Table of the House.
