The Secretary to Government of Pakistan,

Cabinet Division,

The Chief Secretary to Government of Sindh,

Subject:        RESOLUTION.

I am to state that the Provincial Assembly of Sindh in its sitting held on Monday, the 15th April, 2019 has passed the following Resolution moved by Ms. Nida Khuhro, MPA, Syeda Marvi Faseeh, MPA, Ms. Heer Soho, MPA, Ms. Shamim Mumtaz, MPA, Mr. Ghanwer Ali Khan Isran, MPA, Arbab Lutfullah, MPA, Ms. Ghazala Sial, MPA, Ms. Shahnaz Begum, MPA, Mr. Burhan Chandio, MPA, Ms. Tanzila Umi Habiba, MPA, Syed Farukh Ahmed Shah, MPA, Ms. Sadia Javed, MPA, Ms. Kulsoom Akhtar Chandio, MPA, Ms. Shazia Umar, MPA, Mr. Muhammad Qasim, MPA and Ms. Parveen Basheer Qaimkhani, MPA:

“On the eve of a general election in India, the Prime Minister of Pakistan has stated clear preference for incumbent Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, as a better choice for Pakistan if re-elected. This statement is both shocking, unprecedented and condemnable.

This House shows grave concern that a sitting PM has declared preference for the candidate who endorses the systematic oppression of Muslims of India in general & Kashmir in particular as well as demonization of Pakistan as a matter of Policy.

This House demands that Imran Khan takes his statement back and apologise to the Nation.”
