Subject: RESOLUTION.
I am to state that the Provincial Assembly of Sindh in its sitting held on Tuesday, the 27th February, 2018 has unanimously passed the following Resolution moved by Mr. Nand Kumar, MPA:-
“Despite Sindh’s protest and severe water crisis in the Province, Indus River System Authority (IRSA) has illegally opened Chasma-Jhelum Link Canal and Taunsa-Panjnad Canal violating the Inter-Provincial agreement depriving Sindh of its rightful water share. This House condemns the attitude of IRSA and demands the concerned authorities in Federal Government to take serious notice of it and suspend the water diversion until Sindh gives its consent.”.
