II OATH OF AFFIRMATION BY MEMBERS.
SCHEDULE FOR THE ELECTION OF SPEAKER AND DEPUTY SPEAKER.
Members to be informed that:-
(a) Under Rule 7 of the Rules of Procedure of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh, any member may propose or second the name of any other member to be Speaker or Deputy Speaker.
(b) Nomination papers for the post of Speaker and Deputy Speaker can be obtained from the office of the Secretary Assembly today immediately after the session up to 4. 00 p.m. and on Friday, 13th December, 2002 from 9. 00 a.m. to 10. 00 a.m.
(c) On Friday, the 13th December, 2002. After filling the nomination paper the same will be delivered by the candidate or his proposer or seconder to the Secretary, Provincial Assembly of Sindh upto 12.00 noon.
(d) On Friday, the 13th December, 2002 at 4.00 p.m. the scrutiny of the nomination papers.
(e) Saturday, the 14th December 2002, at 10.00 a.m. the election of the Speaker and Deputy Speaker by secret balloting and announcement of successful candidates.
