NOTE: Membership of Dr. Ahmed Ali Shah, MPA of Provincial Assembly of Sindh has been suspended by Supreme Court of Pakistan vide Constitution Petition No.05/2012-SCJ dated 13th June 2012. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dr. Ahmed Ali Shah, graduated from Dow Medical College, Karachi and became a Fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK in 1980. He trained as a Neurosurgeon at Guys, Maudsley and Kings College Hospitals in London for 4 years. He became a Fellow of The Royal Society of Medicine in 1983. Dr. Shah returned to Pakistan in 1986 and established a Neurosurgery Department at Dow medical College, where he served for 18 years. He resigned as Professor of Neurosurgery in 2005 and joined Aga Khan Hospital as an Honorary Professor. In 2007, he was elected Dean, Faculty of Neurosurgery, College of Physicians & Surgeons of Pakistan. In 2008, he was elected as an MPA on PPP ticket. He has three children and his eldest brother, Syed Zafar Ali Shah is an MNA whereas his second brother, Syed Munawar Ali Shah has been an MPA in the past.
