As advised by the Chief Minister and in exercise of the powers conferred upon me under clause (1) of Article-112 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, 1973 and other provisions enabling me in this behalf, Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori, Governor of Sindh, hereby dissolve the Provincial Assembly of Sindh on 11th day of August, 2023 at 9:00 p.m.

I am to state that the Provincial Assembly of Sindh in its sitting held on Wednesday, the 06th April, 2022 has passed the following Resolution moved by Ms. Nida Khuhro, MPA, Mr. Sanjay Perwani, MPA, Syeda Marvi Faseeh, MPA, Ms. Sharmila Sahebah Faruqui, MPA, Ms. Farhat Seemen, MPA, Mr. Muhammad Qasim Soomro, MPA, Ms. Shaheena, MPA, Ms. Sadia Javed, MPA, Pir Mujeeb ul Haq, MPA, Syed Aijaz Hussain Shah, MPA, Mr. Abdul Karim Soomro, MPA, Khawaja Izhar ul Hassan, MPA, Mr. Kanwar Naveed Jameel, MPA, Ms. Rana Ansar, MPA:

 

“This House expresses serious reservations and concerns regarding unlawful ruling of Deputy Speaker in consequence of which the Resolution for Vote of No-Confidence was unconstitutionally subverted and rejects the same.

 

This House raises question regarding the subsequent dissolution of National Assembly of Pakistan that followed as a result of this Constitutional aberration.

 

This House expresses serious concerns and condemns the unlawful and illegal ruling has been given by the Deputy Speaker in National Assembly leading to the constitutional crisis in the Country.

 

This House resolves said ruling and considers it against the Constitution.”
