Bashir Ahmed Halepoto remained solidly adhered to the virtues of hospitality, kindness, goodwill and humanism as a politician and parliamentarian throughout his political career. The gap his sad demise has left can hardly be filled by anyone of his stature. He has left behind him an extraordinarily rich legacy of a politician, philanthropist and a genuinely human public representative.
