As advised by the Chief Minister and in exercise of the powers conferred upon me under clause (1) of Article-112 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, 1973 and other provisions enabling me in this behalf, Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori, Governor of Sindh, hereby dissolve the Provincial Assembly of Sindh on 11th day of August, 2023 at 9:00 p.m.

“This House resolves and recommends to the Government of Sindh that all the villages of Sindh including more than 700 villages of Kohistan area of district Thatta falling within the jurisdiction of Union Council namely, JHIRK, JHAMPIR, JANGRI, SONDA, CHATTOCHAND, ONGER, KOHISTAN, JUNGSHAHI, GUJJO, MAKLI, DHABEJI, CHILYA, BHAMBORE and GHARO may kindly be regularized and ensure the basic rights of native people of these areas and also secure their future by granting them ownership of land.”.

It is further stated that the Department concerned shall, within a period of one month from the date of communication of the resolution by the Assembly Secretariat, apprise the Assembly of the action taken on the resolution as required under sub-rule (2) of Rule 135 of Rules of Procedure of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh.
