Subject:        RESOLUTION.

I am to state that the Provincial Assembly of Sindh in its sitting held on Tuesday, the 24th April, 2018 has unanimously passed the following Resolution moved by Ms. Heer Soho, MPA, Ms. Shamim Mumtaz, Advisor to Chief Minister for Social Welfare, Ms. Iram Khalid, Special Assistant to Chief Minister for Women Development, Ms. Rehana Leghari, Special Assistant to Chief Minister for Human Rights and Special Education, Ms. Nusrat Sultana, MPA, Mrs. Shaheena, MPA, Ms. Saira Shahliani, MPA, Mrs. Kulsoom Akhtar Chandio, MPA, Ms. Khairunisa Mughal, MPA, Ms. Ghazala Sial, MPA, Dr. Sajeela Leghari, MPA, Mrs. Shehnaz Begum, MPA and Mrs. Farhat Seemi, MPA:-

This House resolves and recommends to the Government of Sindh to approach Federal Government to withdraw the recent increase in charges for CNIC registration by NADRA. The exorbitant charges related to NADRA registration will make difficult for citizens to have CNIC and to vote. Therefore, to ensure that voting is accessible to everyone free NICs should be issued and number of Mobile Registration Vans (MRVs) should be increased. All these initiatives, will definitely increase the representation of citizen’s in upcoming Elections.”.
