Subject: RESOLUTION.
I am to state that the Provincial Assembly of Sindh in its sitting held on Tuesday, the 27th February, 2018 has unanimously passed the following Resolution moved by Ms. Saira Shahliani, MPA, Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar, Minister for Education & Literacy, Sindh, Ms. Ghazala Sial, MPA, Mr. Ghulam Qadir Chandio, MPA, Mir Allah Bux Talpur, MPA and Mrs. Shehnaz Begum, MPA:-
“This House expresses deep grief on the untimely demise of iconic, fearless and voice of the voiceless, laywer and champion of human rights Ms. Asma Jahangir whose unrelenting fight for human rights, women empowerment and struggle for the marginalised section of society regardless of caste, creed or any other discrimination.
This Assembly pays tribute to the services of Ms. Asma Jahangir and prays may Allah bless her the highest place in Jannat and grant patience to the family and the followers to bear the irreparable loss.”.
