RESOLUTION MOVED BY MS. GHAZALA SIAL, MPA

This Assembly commemorates 25th November as the International Day for the elimination of violence against women and also congratulate the Provincial Assembly of Sindh on passing the Domestic Violence (Prevention and Protection) Act, 2013 (Sindh Act No. XX of 2013).

This Assembly resolves that Provincial Government take special measures to implement the provisions of the Act in its true spirit and at gross root level in the Province to achieve the better results.”.

 

RESOLUTION MOVED BY MS. NAHEED BEGUM, MPA

This Assembly remembers the 25th November as the International Day for the elimination of violence against women and demands from Sindh Government to take measures to control it. This House also commits to provide basic rights to women & strongly condemns mental & physical torture against women & vowed that all possible laws will be framed out to provide basic rights to women of Sindh. This House should also commit to providing equal status, politically and socially in all of Sindh.”.
