Subject: RESOLUTION.
I am to state that the Provincial Assembly of Sindh in its sitting held on Tuesday, the 27th September, 2016 has unanimously passed the following Resolution moved by Mr. Khurram Sher Zaman, MPA:-
“This House resolves that all relevant Government Departments and agencies at both the Federal and Provincial levels to take action against K-Electric for excessive billing, Load Shedding and other malpractices.
This House acknowledges that K-Electric’s high tariff rates combined with other high handed excess have unjustly squeezed the life and finances of the people of Karachi.
This Assembly resolves that the Sindh Government approach the Federal Government to pursue this issue immediately with the Federal Government, National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) and the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).”.
