Subject: RESOLUTION.
I am to state that the Provincial Assembly of Sindh in its sitting held on Wednesday, the 13th February, 2013 has unanimously passed the following Resolution moved by Pir Mazhar ul Haq, Senior Minister for Education & Literacy, Sindh:-
“This Assembly unanimously condemns the attack and torture committed by Punjab Police upon Mr. Shoukat Basra, Honourable MPA and Deputy Leader of Opposition of Punjab Assembly and Mr. Iftikhar Randhawa, Member Central Committee of Muttehida Quomi Movement and recommends to the Provincial Government to take up this issue with Punjab Government for taking serious action against the Police Officials involved in the incident.”
