I am directed to state that the Provincial Assembly of Sindh in its sitting held on Tuesday, the 24th April, 2012 has unanimously passed the following Resolution moved by Syed Shoaib Ahmed Bukhari Advocate, Minister for Bureau of Supply & Prices, Sindh, Mr. Ghulam Mujadid Isran, MPA, Ms. Tauqeer Fatima Bhutto, Minister for Women Development, Sindh, Ms. Humera Alwani, MPA, Ms. Najma Saeed Chawla, MPA, Mr. Arif Mustafa Jatoi, MPA, Mr. Saleem Khursheed Khokhar, MPA, Ms. Zareen Majeed, MPA and Ms. Naheed Begum, MPA:-
“This Assembly expresses its grief over the Bhoja Air Crash on 20th April, 2012 which resulted in the tragic loss of 127 lives; extends deepest sympathies to the bereaved families; appreciates the prompt initiation of an enquiry into the crash by the Federal Government and demands that events leading to the tragedy be brought to light without delay and any negligence or malafide intent if proven, be dealt with in the harshest letter of the law and recommends to the Government of Sindh to approach the Federal Government for immediate measures regarding compensation for the families of the plane crash victims.”
