Subject: RESOLUTION.
I am directed to state that Provincial Assembly of Sindh in its sitting held on Thursday, the 3rd May, 2012 has unanimously passed the following Resolution moved by Mr. Muhammad Ayaz Soomro, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs, Sindh and Pir Mazhar ul Haq, Senior Minister for Education & Literacy, Sindh:-
“This House reposes complete confidence in prime Minister, syed Yusuf Raza Gilani, as the Constitutionally and democratically elected prime Minister and unanimously elected chief Executive of this Country.
This House commends the Prime Minister for upholding the majesty of law by personally appearing thrice, on being summoned by the Honourable Supreme court and showing great humility and respect to the Apex court.
This House also appreciates the firmness and dignity displayed by the prime Minister syed Yusuf raza Gilani in upholding the Constitution and the Parliamentary Democracy in the Country.
This House also wishes to reaffirm its belief in the Constitutional procedure for disqualification of a prime Minister from holding the office and that any other procedure adopted will be considered as unconstitutional.”
