I am to state that the Provincial Assembly of Sindh in its sitting held on Friday, the 21st January, 2011 has unanimously passed the following Resolution moved by Haji Munawar Ali Abbasi, MPA, Syed Manzar Imam, MPA, Mr. Nishat Muhammad Zia Qadri, MPA, Mr. Muhammad Hanif Sheikh, MPA, Mr. Rehan Zafar, MPA and Syed Khalid Ahmed, MPA:-
“This Assembly should entrust to the Standing Committee on Local Government to look into the news published in the newspapers regarding the shortage of drinking water in Karachi and to recommend and report to the Assembly for the ways and means to overcome the shortage of water in Karachi.”
