As advised by the Chief Minister and in exercise of the powers conferred upon me under clause (1) of Article-112 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, 1973 and other provisions enabling me in this behalf, Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori, Governor of Sindh, hereby dissolve the Provincial Assembly of Sindh on 11th day of August, 2023 at 9:00 p.m.

“This House resolves and recommends to the Government of Sindh to approach the Federal Government to include the Spouse (s) and Children (dependent) of the Members of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh and officers of the Secretariat of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh in Para 9 of the Passport and visa Manual 2006 in order to get facility of Official/Gratis Passport as contemplated under Clause [10-A (d) of the Sindh Provincial Assembly (Members) Privileges Act, 1975.”.

It is further stated that the Department concerned shall, within a period of one month from the date of communication of the resolution by the Assembly Secretariat, apprise the Assembly of the action taken on the resolution as required under sub-rule (2) of Rule 135 of Rules of Procedure of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh.
