I am to state that Honourable Chairman has been pleased to convene meeting of Standing Committee on Special Education on TUESDAY, THE 06TH FEBRUARY, 2018 AT 01:00 P.M. in Committee Room No. 01, Sindh Assembly Building, Karachi.

 

AGENDA

 

1.    Details of promotions from BPS-18 to BPS-19 made through Departmental Promotion Committee, duly verified by the Administrative Secretary of the department.

2.    Number of employees promoted in violation of rules from BPS-9 to BPS-17 and what remedial action has taken by the department.

3.    Identification and action taken by the department against ghost and absentee employees of the department.

4.    District wise details of employees appointed in the department on the domicile of Sindh.

5.    Status with regard to installation of Transformer to Special Education Complex, Nawabshah.

6.    Status of summary floated by the department to SGA&CD for the purpose of framing Recruitment Rules for the department.

7.    Action taken by the department against those officers who were promoted to BPS-19 in violation of rules and verdict of Supreme Court of Pakistan.

 8.    Measures initiated by the department to computerize the record of employees of the department and their salaries.

9.    Details of on-going and proposed development schemes of the department, in addition to that status of revamping and repair and maintenance schemes of the department.

10. Details of 25 centers opened during the year, 2014 against whom the Government of Sindh released adequate funds, which allegedly been mis-appropriated.

11. In 2012-2013 sixteen centers of Special Education were established. How much budget was allocated/utilized in this regard.

12. Nutrition Programme for students in these 16 established Special Education Centers.

13. Report on Functional/Non-Functional vehicles in Special Education on Centers in the Province.

14. Report on raid of District & Session Judge on Special Education Centre Dadu.

15. Report on Special Education Center, Mithi.    

 

It is, therefore, requested to attend the said meeting on date, time and venue mentioned above.
