Subject:           RESOLUTION.

I am to state that the Provincial Assembly of Sindh in its sitting held on Friday, the 17th June, 2016 has unanimously passed the following Resolution moved by Mr. Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, Senior Minister for Education & Literacy and Parliamentary Affairs, Sindh, Dr. Sikander Mandhro, Minister for Environment and Coastal Development Authority, Sindh, Mr. Mukesh Kumar Chawla, Minister for Information Technology, Sindh, Mr. Fayaz Ali Butt, Special Assistant to Chief Minsiter, Sindh for Public Health Engineering & Rural Development, Khawaja Izhar ul Hassan, MPA/ Leader of Opposition, Provincial Assembly of Sindh, Mr. Ghulam Mujtaba Isran, MPA, Dr. Sikandar Shoro, MPA, Mr. Imdad Ali Pitafi, MPA, Engineer Pesu Mal, MPA, Ms. Kulsoom Akhtar Chandio, MPA, Mr. Mahesh Kumar Malani, MPA, Jam Madad Ali Khan, MPA, Ms. Nusrat Sultana, MPA, Mr. Ghulam Qadir Chandio, MPA, Ms. Mahtab Akbar Shah Rashdi, MPA, Mr. Nand Kumar, MPA, Syed Sardar Ahmed, MPA, Ms. Nusrat Bano Seher Abbasi, MPA, Dr. Sajeela Leghari, MPA, Syed Aijaz Hussain Shah Bukhari, MPA, Mr. Zia ul Hassan, MPA, Dr. Bahadur Khan Dahri, MPA, Mr. Khurram Sher Zaman, MPA, Dr. Seema Zia, MPA and Mr. Samar Ali Khan, MPA:-

This Assembly vehemently condemns the venomous attitude and discriminatory act by Federal Water and Power Authorities with the people of Sindh Province.

It has been experienced that there is 18 to 20 hours Load-Shedding of Power supply to the subscribers and on the top of it authorities issue wrong statements, make false claims and promises that there shall be no Load-Shedding on Sehar and Iftar timings, but all in vain.

People of the Province are forced to meet their domestic, business and agriculture power needs by use of gas generators, whereas Sui Southern Gas Company cuts off the gas pressure by announcing ban on such use.

Sindh has tremendous potential of Power Production and is busy in exploiting all fossil and renewable sources helping to solve the National problem of Power Scarcity, but surprisingly, the regulatory authorities are not allowing linkage to national grid.

Such attitude prove that the Province is facing discrimination which is nothing but detrimental to national interest and integrity.”.
