In continuation of this office letter No.PD/Const/No.3/2013 dated 11th January 2013 for the Prequalification of the Contractors/Firms for Hostel for Male and Female Members of Provincial Assembly of Sindh, Karachi for the publication.
In this connection the following addendum may be published.
NOTICE INVITING TENDER FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION OF CONTRACTORS.
CONSTRUCTION OF MALE & FEMALE HOSTEL COMPRISING OF 200 APARTMENTS FOR MEMBERS OF PROVINCIAL ASSEMBLY OF SINDH KARACHI AT SARWAR SHAHEED ROAD KARACHI.
- The Project Director MPA Hostel Karachi intend to prequalify reputed & experienced Contractors/Firms for the Construction of the Project/Scheme cited above with scope, and other details are as under.
1. Scope: (i) Civil Works (ii) Plumbing Works (iii) Electrical & I.T Works (iv) HVAC Works (v) Elevators (Vii) BMS & (viii) Signage System.
2. Project Period: 42 Months with Liability period of 12 Months.
- Eligibility: Valid Registration with relevant tax authorities and Pakistan Engineering Council in relevant category and discipline is mandatory (procuring agency must mention relevant category and discipline)
- Pre-qualification documents: Interested firms/contractors can obtain the pre-qualification documents from the address mentioned below on payment of non-refundable fee of Rs.1000.00 (Rupees one Thousand Only in shape of pay order in the name of Secretary, Provincial Assembly of Sindh).
- Documents can be dispatched by courier service on the written request for which the additional cost of mail i.e. Rs250.00 will be borne by the applicant, however under no circumstances the Procuring Agency will be responsible for late delivery or loss of the documents mailed.
- Dead line of Issuance of Documents: Documents will be issued to interested firms within 30 days of the publication of this advertisement under SPPRA Rules 2010.

- The Client may reject any or all applications subject to the relevant provision of Sindh Public Procurement Rules 2010.
- Applicants will be informed in due course of the result of the evaluation of applications. Only the firms contractors prequalified under this process will be invited to bid.
In this regard you are requested to please publish the above in three leading newspapers i.e. Sindhi, English & Urdu. All the applications will be received and issued under Sindh Public Procurement Regulatory Authority Rules 2010.
