Subject: RESOLUTION.
I am directed to state that Provincial Assembly of Sindh in its sitting held on Monday, the 1st October, 2012 has unanimously passed the following Resolution moved by Mr. Muhammad Ayaz Soomro, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs, Sindh:-
“This Assembly is appalled at the defamatory video film maligning the revered and pious personality of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be upon Him) and strongly condemns this hateful film, it’s makers and the Youtube for allowing space for such contemptible contents. This horrendous act has deeply hurt the feelings of all Pakistanis and created great disturbance in the Muslim World. We echo the demand of President Asif Ali Zardari for the World Community to criminalize such heinous acts and the United Nation to address this alarming issue which poses a threat to World Peace and Unity.”
