Sub RESOLUTION.
I am to state that the Provincial Assembly of Sindh in its sitting held on Wednesday,
the 12th January, 2011 has unanimously passed the following Resolution moved by Mr. Muhammad Ayaz Soomro, Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs, Sindh:-
“This House resolves to show its fullest confidence and trust in the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Mr. Asif Ali Zaedari who was elected by securing 481 votes (71% of the Electoral College) from the four Provincial Assemblies, Senate and the National Assembly of Pakistan being Co-Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party as President of Pakistan.
His role is very essential as a Co-Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party and being the President of Pakistan to forge unity in the Nation as well as reconciliation amongst the democratic forces.
This House, therefore, appreciates his efforts in the dual offices for furtherance of democracy and strengthening of Pakistan.”
