I am to state that the Provincial Assembly of Sindh in its sitting held on Friday, the 5th November, 2010 has unanimously passed the following Resolution moved by Ms. Firdous Hameed alias Farheen Mughal, MPA, Ms. Tauqeer Fatima Bhutto, Minister for Women Development, Sindh, Ms. Humera Alwani, MPA, Ms. Shama Arif Mithani, MPA, Ms. Najma Saeed Chawla, MPA, Ms. Farzana Hanif, MPA, Ms. Rashida Akhtar Panhwar, MPA and Ms. Aisha Khoso, MPA:-

 

“This Assembly resolves and recommends to the Government of Sindh to take steps to treat the murder committed in the name of honour killing means “KARO KARI” as culpable homicide and culprits be charged prosecuted under section 302 PPC.”
