I am to state that the Provincial Assembly of Sindh in its sitting held on Saturday, the 21st March, 2009 has unanimously passed the following Resolution moved by Ms.Shazia Atta Muhammad Marri, Minister for Information, Sindh and Engineer Muhammad Rafiq, Minister for Katchi Abadies & Spatial Development, Sindh:-
“This Assembly recognizes 23rd of March as the historic day of the passing of Pakistan Resolution; acknowledges the Pakistan Resolution as the compelling impetus for the struggle for independence; salutes the zealous leaders who were behind the Resolution; pays homage to the indomitable courage for removing all impediments and made great sacrifices for an independent Pakistan; and reiterates its commitment to remain whole-heartedly devoted to the betterment of Pakistan and its people through sustained democracy."
