NAND KUMAR GOKLANI, MPA: Will the Honourable Minister for Energy, Sindh may please to give answer/ statement that Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) violates the provisions of Article 158 and 199 of Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, 1973 by issuing bills under the head of Re-gasified Liquified Natural Gas (RLNG) instead of natural gas to the consumers in District Sanghar and the rest of districts of the Province. What steps have been taken by the Provincial Government?

 

03.    CALL ATTENTION NOTICE NO. 06 OF 2022; GIVEN NOTICE OF BY SYED ABDUL RASHEED, MPA: Will the Honourable Minister for Local Government, Sindh may please to give answer/ statement that month-wise an amount of rupees 5 lac is being released to the Union Committees in the absence of Local Government representatives in district South, Karachi. Whereas the Elected Local Government representatives of Union Councils since two years are not existed. Furnish the detail of utilization of the said amount; issues of people are not being resolved due to which they are facing severe difficulties in Union Committees of district South.

 

04.    CALL ATTENTION NOTICE NO. 08 OF 2022; GIVEN NOTICE OF BY MS. RANA ANSAR, MPA: Will the Honourable Minister for Health, Sindh may please to give answer/statement that students of Gulistan-e-Sarmast, Latifabad Hyderabad are facing severe difficulties in getting Higher Education, Building of Medical College has been completed many years ago but has not been made functional as yet; Why furnish reasons thereof?.

Summary of Proceedings
Provincial Assembly of Sindh in its sitting held on Friday, the 02nd December, 2022 has passed the following Resolution moved by Mr. Khurram Sher Zaman, MPA, Ms. Sharmila Sahebah Farooqi, MPA, Ms. Rana Ansar, MPA and Syed Abdul Rasheed, MPA:-

 

This House commends Shaheed Arshad Sharif for his services and contributions to the field of journalism, especially investigative journalism in Pakistan.

 

As a Journalist, Shaheed Arshad Sharif was a shining example of excellence and served as an inspiration to his colleagues and young people aspiring to enter journalism as a career.

 

Furthermore, this House strongly condemns the targeted killing of Shaheed Arshad Sharif in Kenya on October 23, 2022 and extends its sympathies and condolences to his family.

 

This House stands in solidarity with Shaheed Arshad Sharif’s family and requests the Sindh Government to approach the Federal Government for an impartial inquiry to investigate his murder as per his family’s demand.
