As regard to eliminate and taken action against such type of the use of illegal blue lights and affixing fake Government number plates on vehicles, is the responsibility of concerned Traffic Police.

However, the Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control Department, Sindh is frequently conducting road checking campaigns on quarterly basis, in order to collect motor vehicles tax dues from the defaulting vehicles. During such checking Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control Department, temporarily impounds unregistered vehicles and motorcycles as well as plying on open letters by the purchasers, but have not been transferred in their names. Furthermore, seizure and disposal rules under Motor Vehicle Ordinance, 1965 are being processed by the Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control Department. Once the rules are passed, effective action against defaulters would be taken.
