01-   Resolution No.682;given notice of by Mr. Nand Kumar Goklani, MPA regarding to take back the unjust decision of enhancement of petroleum prices and supply of Regasified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG) instead of CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) to the consumers for domestic/ industrial/ commercial use in the Province of Sindh. 

02-   Resolution No.699;given notice of by Mr. Saeed Ahmed, MPA regarding the family members of the deceased (Namely Fehmida Siyal & Nazim Jokhio) should be provided protection and security by Law Enforcement agencies.

              Number of Cars and motor-cycles register in Karachi on daily basis?

ANSWER

Mr. Mukesh Kumar Chawla, Minister for Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control:

The Number of registration of Cars and Motorcycles vary from time to time, however, average number of vehicles registered per day are as under:-

Location-wise number of wine shops exist in Jacobabad along with number of new shops opened during 2017 and 2018?

ANSWER

Following two wine shops exist in Jacobabad.

1.      M/S. Popular Wine Store

Town Road Jacobabad.

2.      M/S. Silver Wine Store

Tanga Stand Jacobabad.

No, new wine shop has been opened during 2017 and 2018.

2994.     *Mr. Omar Omari:   Will the Minister for Excise &Taxation be pleased to state:-

(a)   Is it a fact that Rickshaws and Taxis registered in District Karachi during 2017-18;

(b)   If answer to (a) above is affirmative, the detail thereof including amount collected?

ANSWER

Mr. Mukesh Kumar Chawla, Minister for Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control:

(a)    Yes, only Rickshaws were registered in Karachi during 2017-18, and no Taxies were registered during the said period.

(b)   the details of Rickshaws registered in Karachi during 2017-18, including the amount collected are as under:-

4071.     *Mr. Kanwar Naveed Jamil:           Will the Minister for Excise & Taxation be pleased to state:-

(a)   Is it a fact that no any single number plate has been issued for last 10 years by Excise and Taxation office Hyderabad ;

(b)   If answer to (a) above is affirmative the reasons thereof?

ANSWER

Mr. Mukesh Kumar Chawla, Minister for Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control:

Answer to (a) is in negation.

The Transport Department, Government of Sindh vide Notification No. SO(T-II)2-17/2010/(PT-II), dated: 20^th April, 2013, (is at Annexure placed on the Table of   the House) allocated uniform registration mark of registration of commercial and non-commercial vehicles throughout the Province of Sindh, since, the Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control Department has started registration of 4 wheeler vehicles, commercial / non-commercial at Regional Headquarters level with unified series and number plates are being issued to the registered vehicles in the Province.    

4072.     *Mr. Kanwar Naveed Jamil:           Will the Minister for Excise & Taxation be pleased to state:-

(a)   Is it a fact that 3500 to 5000 are being charged for making registration documents of motor-cycle by Director Excise Hyderabad whereas actual fee is 2700 ;

(b)   If answer to (a) above is affirmative action taken against officials robbing poor people? 

ANSWER

Mr. Mukesh Kumar Chawla, Minister for Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control:

a)       Answer to (a) is in negation.

 As such the total amount of Registration fee starts for Registration of Motorcycle, is as under:

1.     For China Motorcycle, 70 cc Rs. 3,200/-

2.     For Honda Motorcycle, 70 cc Rs. 3,500/-

3.     For Honda Motorcycle, 125 cc Rs. 4,000/-

(b)     Hence in question actual fee Rs. 2,700/- mentioned is not true.
