ARIF MUSTAFA JATOI, MPA: Will the Honourable Minister for Universities and Boards, Sindh may please to give answer/statement on the fact that due to the pathetic state of Education in Sindh over the last 13 years, the Government has over 160 vacancies in the PAS cadre whilst out of 364 candidates passing the C.S.S. in 2020 only 33 candidates were domiciled in Sindh?

02-       CALL ATTENTION NOTICE NO.13 OF 2021;GIVEN NOTICE OF BY MR. ARIF MUSTAFA JATOI, MPA: Will the Honourable Minister for Home, Sindh may please to give answer/statement on the fact that huge numbers of Afghan Refugees are entering Sindh and what steps are being taken to look after them and to ensure they do not take jobs from Sindh or spread Polio or Covid-19 in Sindh?

03-       CALL ATTENTION NOTICE NO.14 OF 2021;GIVEN NOTICE OF BY SYED ABDUL RASHEED, MPA: Will the Honourable Minister for Finance, Sindh may please to give answer/statement that Government of Sindh had decided minimum salary Rs. 25000/= per month but neither on Government level nor on private level this wage is being paid to the employees/ workers in Sindh while inflation has made life very difficult, actions taken by the Government to implement the decision in detail?

04-       CALL ATTENTION NOTICE NO.16 OF 2021;GIVEN NOTICE OF BY MR. ABDUL RAZZAQUE, MPA: Will the Honourable Minister for Health, Sindh may please to give answer/statement that PPHI employees working from 2007 on contract basis in Health Department so I have question that why not regularized them?

05-       CALL ATTENTION NOTICE NO.18 OF 2021;GIVEN NOTICE OF BY SYED IMRAN ALI SHAH, MPA: Will the Honourable Minister for Health, Sindh may please to give answer/statement that enlighten the House of current availability of anti-snake venom in rural districts in the Province of Sindh as its delay or non-availability leads to morbidity?

06-       CALL ATTENTION NOTICE NO.17 OF 2021;GIVEN NOTICE OF BY MR. MUHAMMAD QASIM, MPA: Will the Honourable Minister for Local Government, Sindh may please to give answer/statement that water is provided on alternate days of the week in my Constituency Baldia Town, therefore, also areas where water has not been provided for last 15 to 20 years, time when the water will be provided in those areas?

Year-wise budgetary allocation for Sindh House Islamabad during May 31, 2015 to May 30, 2018 along with number of vehicles/employees of Sindh House as of May 31, 2018?

2154. *Ms. Rana Ansar: Will the Minister for Works and Services be pleased to state:-

a)     Is it a fact that 25 km road from Gharo to Mirpur Sakro was to be completed in 10 months but the same could not be completed even after 5 years;

b)     If answer to (a) above is affirmative, the reasons thereof including fund earmarked for the same?

a)     The scheme namely “25 km road from Gharo to Mirpur Sakroroad does not pertain to works &
Services Department as the road work was carried out by National Highway Authority (NHA).

b)     NIL.

(a)  Is it a fact that there is any project to construct dual road on other highway like Hyderabad-Mirpurkhas road;

(b)  If answer to (a) above is affirmative, the details thereof?

(a)  Is it a fact that amount allocated for repair & maintenance of roads in Keamari Town, Karachi during 2017-18;

(b)  If answer to (a) above is affirmative, the details thereof including detail of roads repaired?

a)     There was no allocation on Repair & Maintenance of roads in Kemari Town, Karachi during 2017-18.

b)     NIL

(a)  Is it a fact that amount earmarked and spent for repair & maintenance of government buildings in Keamari Town, Karachi during 2017-18,

(b)  If answer to (a) above is affirmative, the details thereof including name of buildings?

(a)     As per reply received from Superintending Engineer (W&S), Karachi, no funds were earmarked / allocated for  Repair & Maintenance of Government Buildings in Keemari Town, Karachi during 2017-18

(a)  Is it a fact that Syed Muhammad Section Officer is still posted as Deputy Secretary in the department on OPS basis;

(b)  If answer to (a) above is affirmative, the reasons thereof?

Syed Muhammad, Section Officer has not been posted in Works & Services Department.

2798. *Ms. Rana Ansar: Will the Minister for Works and Services be pleased to state:-

(a)  Whether Government has any plan to construct road from Mirpurkhas to Umerkot, Mithi and Nawabshah like Hyderabad to Mirpurkhas road;

(b)  If answer to (a) above is affirmative, the details thereof?

MR. ZIA ABBAS SHAH, MINISTER FOR WORKS AND SERVICES:

(a)   There is presently no plan of the Government to construct road from Mirpurkhas to Umerkot, Mithi and Nawabshah like Hyderabad to Mirpurkhas road as per PPP mode.

(b)   NIL

2891. *Ms. Adeeba Hassan: Will the Minister for Works and Services be pleased to state:-

(a)  Is it a fact that three bridges over Sita Road in Dadu are damaged resulting people are facing hardships;

(b)  If answer to (a) above is affirmative, the reasons thereof?

(a)      As per reply received from the Superintending Engineer, Works & Services, Dadu no bridge over Sita road in District Dadu is damaged and traffic is plying smoothly.

(a)  Is it a fact that roads will be constructed in the province under Public Private Partnership;

(b)  If answer to (a) above is affirmative, the detail thereof?

5448. *Ms. Nusrat Sehar Abbasi: Will the Minister for Works and Services be pleased to state:-

(a)  Is it a fact that a scheme reconditioning of road from Yousuf Dahrimori Regulator to Bandhi via Manhoro road mile 0/0-10/0 (16.09km) S.B.A was to be completed by June 2018;

(b) If answer to (a) above is affirmative, present position of the same?

MR. ZIA ABBAS SHAH, MINISTER FOR WORKS AND SERVICES:

As per reply received from Chief Engineer (Highways), Hyderabad, the scheme “Reconditioning of road from YousufDahri Mori Regulator to Bandhi via Manhoro road mile 0/0-10/0 (16.09 kms)” District Shaheed Benzirabad was completed in June, 2018.

5454. *Ms. Nusrat SeharAbbasi: Will the Minister for Works and Services be pleased to state:-

(a) Is it a fact that a scheme Widening/   reconditioning of Thatta Pir Patho to Ghorabari road (40.00km) is to be completed by June 2020;

(b) If answer to (a) above is affirmative, current status of work carried out?

MR. ZIA ABBAS SHAH, MINISTER FOR WORKS AND SERVICES:

Chief Engineer (Highways), Hyderabad has informed that scheme namely “Widening/   reconditioning of ThattaPirPatho to Ghorabari road (40.62 km)” has been completed during financial year 2018-19. Details are given at Annexure Placed on the Table of the House.

5457. *Ms. Nusrat SeharAbbasi: Will the Minister for Works and Services be pleased to state:-

(a)   Is it a fact that a scheme W/R of road from N.H way to Nabi Shah road (5.0km) Sukkur was to be completed up to June 2018;

(b)   If answer to (a) above is affirmative, current status of the same?

                                                                        ANSWER

MR. ZIA ABBAS SHAH, MINISTER FOR WORKS AND SERVICES:

Yes. As per reply received from Chief Engineer (Highways), Sukkur, a scheme W/R of road from N.H. Way to Nabi Shah road mile 0/0-3/0 (4.83 Kms) Sukkur was completed in June, 2018.

The Chief Engineer (Highways), Sukkur has informed that completion Form PC-IV was also submitted by Executive Engineer, Provincial Highway Division, Sukkur. Details are given at Annexure Placed on the Table of the House.

5756. *Mr. Arif Mustafa Jatoi: Will the Minister for Works and Services be pleased to state:-

(a)  Is it a fact that the department has appointed fresh employees since July 1, 2019;

(b)  If answer to (a) above is affirmative, number appointed, grade and district of appointment?
