Does SSGC communicate the schedule of Load shedding with Sindh Government; if not please state the reasons thereof?

 

02- CALL ATTENTION NOTICE NO. 48 OF 2021; GIVEN NOTICE OF BY MS. RABIA KHATOON, MPA: Will the Honourable Minister for Local Government, Sindh may please to give answer/statement that high rise buildings constructed and also construction work of 5 to 6 floors is going on 120 yards residential plots in Korangi Town. SBCA granted permission to build high rise buildings specially in Korangi, which action taken against illegal constructed buildings?

 

03- CALL ATTENTION NOTICE NO. 46 OF 2021; GIVEN NOTICE OF BY MS. GHAZALA SIAL MPA: The attention of this House is drawn towards unscheduled load shedding of gas and electricity in the Province of Sindh. It has been noticed that power blackout and gas Load shedding have increased in the Province and apart from scheduled Load shedding for several hours the power remains mostly off for hours on end, without assigning a reason of any power break down by the WAPDA. The same is the case with gas as domestic consumers are faced with increased gas load shedding. Will the Honourable Minister for Energy, Sindh be pleased to state/answer regarding whether this issue has been taken up with the Federal Minister for Energy (Power & Natural Resources Division)?

 

04- CALL ATTENTION NOTICE NO. 47 OF 2021: GIVEN NOTICE OF BY MR. MUHAMMAD SHABBIR, MPA: Will the Honourable Minister for Industries, Sindh may please to give answer/statement that there is illegal encroachment at the Nallas of SITE Area Karachi. At the time of rain the settlements of poors present the scene of rivers and people are left to migrate from their homes. Time when the said illegal construction on drain nallas Will be removed?

1251.   *Ms. Rana Ansar:     Will the Minister for Minorities Affairs be pleased to state:-

 

(a)   Is it a fact that 5% quota reserved for minorities is not being implemented within the province;

(b)   If answer to (a) above is affirmative, the reasons thereof?

 

ANSWER

 

MR. HARI RAM, MINISTER FOR MINORITIES AFFAIRS:

 

(a)    This Department made 98 appointment out of which 24 recruitment made from minorities which is about 24% and above the 5% quota reserved for minorities.

(b)   5% quota reserved for minorities has been implemented by this Department.

 

2537.   *Ms. Nusrat Sehar Abbasi:  Will the Minister for Minorities Affairs be pleased to state:-

 

(a)   Is it a fact that a scheme of construction of satsang hall in Kandyari with estimated cost of Rs-20.000 million is to be  completed by June, 2019;

(b)   If answer to (a) above is affirmative, current status of the same?

 

ANSWER

 

MR. HARI RAM, MINISTER FOR MINORITIES AFFAIRS:

 

a)      Yes

 

b)      The scheme was completed in June, 2019 at the cost of Rs. 17.033 Million.

 

 

 

2558.   *Ms. Nusrat Sehar Abbasi:  Will the Minister for Minorities Affairs be pleased to state:-

 

(a)   Is it fact that a scheme construction of Satsang Hall and Compound Wall at Poojshri  Mami Dev (Mithopir) at Makli Thatta is to be completed by June 2019;

(b)   If answer to (a) above is affirmative, the present position of the same?

 

 

ANSWER

 

MR. HARI RAM, MINISTER FOR MINORITIES AFFAIRS:

 

a)      Yes

 

b)      The scheme was completed in June, 2019 at the cost of Rs. 13.9117 Million.

 

2559.   *Ms. Nusrat Sehar Abbasi:  Will the Minister for Minorities Affairs be pleased to state:-

 

(a)     Is it a fact that a scheme repair, renovation, construction of Dharam Shalla at Royal Road Larkana is to be completed by June 2019 with estimated cost of RS-10.000 million;

(b)    If answer to (a) above is affirmative, current status of the same?

 

ANSWER

a)      No

b)      The scheme was scheduled to be completed by June 2020 but due to COVID-19 and freezing of funds since March, 2020. The scheme now will be completed by June, 2021.

District-wise and grade-wise details of staff working in Minorities department in the Province as on 31-12-2018?

 

ANSWER

 

MR. HARI RAM, MINISTER FOR MINORITIES AFFAIRS:

 

At present,  Minorities Affairs  Department is functioning on Divisional level and therefore, division-wise and grade-wise detail of staff as on 31-12-2018 are at annexures-I, II, III, IV, V & VI. Placed on the Table of the House.

 

 

4647.   *Mr. Khurrum Sher Zaman:           Will the Minister for Minorities Affairs be pleased to state:-

 

(a)   Is it a fact that worship places of religious minorities in the province are equipped with CCTV cameras;

(b)   If answer to (a) above is affirmative, the details thereof?

Year-wise funds earmarked for minorities during 2016-18 including head- wise utilization of said funds?

            Yes.
