ADEEBA HASSAN, MPA: Will the Honourable Minister for Public Health Engineering, Sindh may please to give answer/statement that Government started a scheme namely Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Clean Drinking Water Phase-II in different districts of Sindh, at this time mostly R.O. Filter Plants are closed and salaries are not issued to operators of said Filter Plants; What steps taken by department to resolve this issue?

02-   CALL ATTENTION NOTICE NO. 10 OF 2021; GIVEN NOTICE OF BY SYED ABDUL RASHEED, MPA:To invite attention of the Honourable Minister for Home Department to the increasing street crime in the City, particular worst situation of the public of District South, Karachi the concerned SHOs did not respond on public grievances, Government may take serious action in this regard and inform about the taken steps, please?

RANAANSAR, MPA: Will the Honourable Minister for Health, Sindh may please to give answer/statement that how many people of the Province have been given COVID-19 Vaccine along with budget allocation as well as expenditure of the same? 

04-     CALL ATTENTION NOTICE NO. 14 OF 2021; GIVEN NOTICE OF BY MR. NAND KUMAR GOKLANI, MPA: Will the Honourable Minister for Local Government, Sindh may please to give answer/statement that is it a fact that white collar persons, belonging to particular caste of the area, are appointed as Sanitary Workers in Union Council Kumb, District Khairpur Mir’s. They take salaries regularly but never bothered to do their work for which they are appointed?

05-     CALL ATTENTION NOTICE NO. 13 OF 2021; GIVEN NOTICE OF BY MR. MUHAMMAD SHABBIR, MPA: To invite attention of the Honourable Minister Health Department to the deteriorated condition of Hospital and Maternity Home under the RHC Sher Shah at Arifabad Dispensary (Bhutto Dispensary) where people are deprived of basic facilities due to lack of medicines and insufficient number of staff?

06-     CALL ATTENTION NOTICE NO. 11 OF 2021; GIVEN NOTICE OF BY MR. ARIF MUSTAFA JATOI, MPA: Will the Honourable Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, be pleased to answer or provide statement on the fact that the Sindh Government is not providing answers to questions submitted by members. 124.     *Mr. Arif Mustafa Jatoi:      Will the Minister for Industries & Commerce be pleased to state:-

Number of plots in Small Industries Estate, Mithi alongwith number of same allotted and have operating units to date?    

ANSWER

MS. NIDA KHUHRO, PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY FOR INDUSTRIES & COMMERCE:

The Sindh Small Industries Corporation has established Small Industrial Estate Mithi in the year 2014-15 over an area of 50 acres land.

60 Industrial plots & 50 Commercial plots have been developed over this area.

01 Industrial plot and 33 Commercial plots allotted through open auction in SIE Mithi. No unit is in Operation.

138.     *Mr. Arif Mustafa Jatoi:      Will the Minister for Industries & Commerce be pleased to state:-

(a)   Is it a fact that a SIE has been established at northern bypass, Karachi;

(b)   If answer to (a) above be in affirmative, number of plots available for allotment and cost per plot?

ANSWER

(a)     Yes, it is a fact that, Sindh Small Industries Corporation has established SIE Northern Bye pass Karachi in Deh Jam Chakro District Gadap Karachi in the year 2003-04 over an area of 100 acres.

(b)     05 plots of (250 Sq.Yds) are available for allotment & cost of plot is @ Rs.4000/- per sq. yd.

139.     *Mr. Arif Mustafa Jatoi:      Will the Minister for Industries & Commerce be pleased to state:-

(a)    Is it a fact that public private management committees have been formed for running industrial estates;

(b)   If answer to (a) above be in affirmative, number formed to-date with names of members?

ANSWER

(a)    Yes it is a fact.

(b)   Following 4-Management Companies /Committees have been established for development of infrastructure of the areas other than designated areas of SITE Ltd.

                             i.            Korangi Industrial Development and Management Company.

                           ii.            Landi Industrial Area Development and Management Company. 

                         iii.            Federal-B Industrial Area Development and Management Company. 

                         iv.            North Karachi Industrial Area Development and Management Company.

(c)             The list of members is at Annexure-I,II,III & IV are placed on the Table of the House

            Location-wise detail and number of the Textile Industries exist in Sindh?

The Registration and De-Registration of the Factories in Sindh is done under Section 11(1) of the Sindh Factories Act 2015, therefore the detail information can be obtained from Labour Department. However, the details of Textile Industries existing in the SITE Limited which is under the Administrative control of Industries & Commerce department are as under:-

Number of Industries units remained closed during 2016 to 2018 in the province including the reasons of enclosure?

The Registration and De-Registration of the Factories in Sindh is done under Sindh Factories Act 2015 and the subject matter i.e Industrial units which remain closed during 2016 to 2018 in the Province pertains to Labour Department therefore Labour Department may kindly be approached for reply. However, the details of  Industrial units remain closed during 2016 to 2018  existing in the SITE Limited which is under the Administrative control of Industries & Commerce department are as under:-

(a)   Is it a fact that jobs of the department are being sold in the province;

(b)   If answer to (a) above is affirmative, the details thereof including action taken against involved during last 05 years?
