No, it is not fact that there is lot of corruption in Motor Vehicle Department as the entire system is computerized and Registration of Motor Vehicles and its transfer as well as tax payments are auto calculated, all payments are being collected & deposited in Government Treasury.

Further, Motor Vehicles are also registered in all Regional and District Headquarters of the Province; Motoring Public may also pay their Motor Vehicle Taxes in any District of Sindh as well as in various NBP Branches in Karachi and Hyderabad.

Mr. Mukesh Kumar Chawla, Minister for Excise, Taxation & Narcotics:

The Bed Tax on Hotel was used to be collected by the Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control Department, which was abolished vide Sindh Finance Act dated, 16th July, 2013 is at Annexure Placed on the Table of the House. Hence, this tax is no longer being collected by the Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control Department.

Yes, it is a fact that Pakistan Customs is involved in detention of contraband items.

Pakistan Custom is a Federal Agency having jurisdiction of entire Country and is involved in detention of contraband items in the whole of Pakistan whereas, Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control Department is a Provincial Government department and among other activities also involved in detention of contraband items within the Province of Sindh.
