MUHAMMAD HUSSAIN KHAN, MPA: Will the Honourable Minister for Health, Sindh may please to give answer/statement that AIDS Control Programme Center is established in Hyderabad. Why AIDS patients are sending to Karachi and why counting of AIDS patients are increasing day by day?

2.    CALL ATTENTION NOTICE NO. 08 OF 2018;GIVEN NOTICE OF BY MR. JAMAL UDDIN SIDDQUI, MPA: Will the Honourable Minister for Prisons, Sindh may please to give answer/statement that the Central Prisons, Karachi is located in the congested area where residents are facing problems due to jammers and other security related issues; What steps have been taken by the Government to shift the Central Prisons, Karachi from congested area to somewhere else?

3.    CALL ATTENTION NOTICE NO. 61 OF 2018;GIVEN NOTICE OF BY MR. SAEED AHMED, MPA: Will the Honourable Minister for Health, Sindh may please to give answer/statement that is it a fact that construction work of 50 bedded Hospital at Qasba Colony A-1 area UC-08 Karachi has been completed but the Hospital is not functional as yet. If so, the reasons thereof alongwith amount spent on the construction of said Hospital?

4.    CALL ATTENTION NOTICE NO. 59 OF 2018;GIVEN NOTICE OF BY SYED IMRAN ALI SHAH, MPA: Will the Honourable Minister for Health, Sindh may please to give answer/statement that on the current availability of the Rabies Vaccine and are there any specific designated health facilities to cater this issue?

5.    CALL ATTENTION NOTICE NO. 60 OF 2018;GIVEN NOTICE OF BY MS. NASEEM, MPA: Will the Honourable Minister for Education & Literacy, Sindh may please to give answer/statement that construction work of Girls College of Padiddan has not been completed since last 8 years; is it negligence of contractor or Government explain?

6.    CALL ATTENTION NOTICE NO. 58 OF 2018;GIVEN NOTICE OF BY MR. MALIK SHEHZAD AWAN, MPA: Will the Honourable Minister for Transport, Sindh may please to give answer/statement that Excise Police demands money from Luggage carrying heavy Trucks and Trawlers and at not paying,  they either stop vehicles or issue heavy challans; steps taken by the Government to control this practice?

The expected production of wheat in Sindh for 2018-19?

ANSWER

Mr. Muhammad Ismail Rahu, Minister for Agriculture, Supply & Prices:

The expected production of Wheat in Sindh for the year 2018-19, is estimated at 3, 800,000 M.Ton or 3.8Million M.Tons.

*51.     Mr. Arif Mustafa Jatoi:         Will the Minister for Agriculture, Supply & Prices be pleased to state:-

The total sugar cane procured by sugar mills in Sindh during the period from October 1, 2017 till April 29, 2018 mill-wise?

 ANSWER

Mr. Muhammad Ismail Rahu, Minister for Agriculture, Supply & Prices:

Sugar Mills in Sindh province crushed/procured total quantity of 21,625,828.030 M.Tons during the crushing season 2017-18. The mill-wise detail isat annexure placed on the Table of the House.

(a)                Is it a fact that subsidized solar water bores supplied by the Department during 2018;

(b)               If Answer to (a) above is affirmative, the names and districts of allottees?  

 ANSWER

Mr. Muhammad Ismail Rahu, Minister for Agriculture, Supply & Prices:

It is a fact that subsidizedSolar Power Water Pumps / Tubewells are provided by Agriculture, Supply & Prices Department to Farmers during the year 2017-18. Total 206 Nos. Solar Powered Water Pumps / Tubewells were installed under the ADP scheme “Provision of Solar Water Pumps / Tubewells on Subsidized Rates to Farmers in Sindh” during 2017-18.

List of District-wise Beneficiaries Farmers / allottees for the year 2017-18 is at annexureplaced on   the Table of the House.              

*598.       Mr. Rabistan Khan:    Will the Minister for Agriculture, Supply & Prices be pleased to state:-

Grade/district wise number of persons appointed in Agriculture department during 2017-18 along with criteria followed for the same?
