(a)   Is it a fact that Session Judges have been directed to make Human Rights Cell functioned;

(b)   If answer to (a) above is affirmative, the details thereof including the benefits to the public from?

ANSWER

SYED QAIM ALI SHAH JILLANI, (Chief Minister) Minister for Law:

(a)      Yes. All District & Sessions Judges in Sindh have been directed to make the Human Rights Cell functional and the cases relating to Human Rights are being disposed of expeditiously.

(b)      The following District & Sessions Judges in Sindh have provided the following details of Human Rights cases from January, 2013 to November, 2013 received through the Member Inspection Team-II, High Court of Sindh, Karachi and public have been benefited:

Location-wise number of branches of SPC bank at present in the province with its functions as well as name of members of board of directors and their duties?

It is pointed out that the Sindh Provincial Cooperative Bank has been gone in liquidation with the approval of Honourable Chief Minister Sindh, since August, 2012.

Number of agricultural co-operative societies provided credit by SPC bank during 2009 to 2013 along with amount of credit as well as amount returned by them?

ANSWER

SYED QAIM ALI SHAH JILLANI, (Chief Minister) Minister for Co-operation:

No credit facilities were provided by SPCB during the 2009-2013 to Agricultural Cooperative Societies.

 *2682. MR. MUHAMMAD MOIN AAMIR PIRZADA: Will the Minister for Women Development be pleased to state:-

Number of posts filled in Women Development department on urban quota during              01-01-2008 to 15-03-2013 along with name, post, BPS and domicile of each employee?

 ANSWER

Women Development Department has filled 70 posts w.e.f. 01-01-2008 to 15-03-2013. Out of 70, 38 posts have been filled against urban quota, detail is given as under:

The seniority list of BPS-18 officers in the Criminal Prosecution Department as on July 1, 2010 along with the criteria for promotion to BPS-19?

In pursuance of Rule-9 of the Sindh Civil Servants (Probation, Confirmation and Seniority) Rules, 1975 and with the approval of competent authority, the seniority of Deputy District Public Prosecutors (BS-18) of Criminal Prosecution Service Department, as stood on           1^st March, 2008 is hereby circulated for information of all concerned. Representation, if any, may be submitted within 30 days of publication of the seniority list is at Annexure, placed on the table of the House.
