Provincial Assembly of Sindh in its sitting held on Friday, the 11th December,2015 has unanimously passed the following Resolution moved by Mr. Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, Senior Minister for Education & Literacy and Parliamentary Affairs, Mr. Murad Ali Shah, Senior Minister for Finance, Energy, Planning & Development and Irrigation, Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani, Minister to Government of Sindh, Dr. Sikander Mandhro, Minister for Environment, Coastal Development Authority & Cooperation, Jam Mehtab Hussain Dehar, Minister for Health, Mr. Ahmed Ali Khan Pitafi, MPA, Mr. Ghulam Qadir Chandio, MPA and Mr. Mahesh Kumar Malani, MPA:-

This House expresses sorrow and deep grief on the sad demise of Makhdoom Amin Fahim, President of Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarian, MNA, a spiritual leader and man of exemplary character.

*1718. MS. NUSRAT SEHER ABBASI: Will the Minister for Auqaf be pleased to state:-

(a)   Is it a fact that stipend receiving to the 400 families of the province has been stopped for three months;

(b)   If answer to (a) above is in affirmative, the reasons thereof?

ANSWER

SYED QAIM ALI SHAH JILLANI, (Chief Minister) Minister for Auqaf:

It is not fact that stipend receiving to the 400 families of the province has been stopped for three (3) months. It is added that there are 66 families of the province are receiving stipend on monthly basis in the limited grant allowed by the Government to the Department.

*2018. MS. KHAIRUNISA MUGHAL: Will the Minister for Auqaf be pleased to state:-

(a)   Is it a fact that the shrines of the province were damaged during floods of 2010;

(b)   If answer to (a) above is affirmative, the details thereof?

ANSWER

(a)      The Chief Administrator Auqaf informed that there was no damage or loss to the Shrines/Dargahs under the administrative control of Auqaf Department in the province during the flood of 2010 except one Dargah of Saeedi Mossani District Dadu.

(b)(i) During the flood of 2010 the Musafirkhana, Office of Manager Auqaf & Thalla of Dargah Saeedi Moosani Taluka Mehar District Dadu was partially damaged during the flood of 2010.

(ii) The Scheme namely “Construction of Dispensary & Compound Wall & other allied facilities at Dargah Saeedi Moosani District Dadu is included in ADP 2014-15 at Gen. Sr. No. 49 with an estimated cost of Rs. 40.000 Million and allocation of Rs. 5.000 million for the year  2014-15, the Rough Cost Estimates (RCEs) is under preparation in the Office of Chief Engineer (Bldgs) Works & Services Department Sukkur and after approval the scheme the work will be started.

*2938. MR. SHIRAZ WAHEED: Will the Minister for Auqaf be pleased to state:-

District-wise revenue earned from auction of various concessions (flower/shoe/mats etc.) at Dargahs and other religious site under the control of the department during 01-07-2007 to 30-06-2010?
