Summary of Proceedings


Today i.e. 4th March 2015 - Mr. Asghar Ali Junejo took oath as Member, Provincial Assembly of Sindh.
Election Commission of Pakistan vide Notification dated 4th March, 2015  re-call its Notification of even number dated 6th January, 2014 regarding restoration of Membership of Mr. Jam Madad Ali in the Provincial Assembly of Sindh from constituency No.81 and publishes the name of Mr. Asghar Ali Junejo as returned candidate.

Provincial Assembly of Sindh in its sitting held on Wednesday, the 4th March, 2015 has unanimously passed the following Resolution moved by Mr. Muhammad Sajid Jokhio, MPA, Engineer Pesu Mal, MPA, Mr. Ikramullah Khan Dharejo, MPA, Mr. Muhammad Nawaz Chandio, MPA, Syed Murad Ali Shah, MPA, Mr. Ghulam Qadir Chandio, MPA, Mrs. Shaheena, MPA, Ms. Khairunisa Mughal, MPA, Ms. Saira Shahliani, MPA and Ms. Ghazala Sial, MPA:-

This Assembly resolves and recommends to the Government to stop Malir Development Authority alloting lands of local inhabitants to the business enterprises and dislocating ancient villages/ gaveyards historic places, creating serious reservations in local population.”


Provincial Assembly of Sindh in its sitting held on Wednesday, the 4th March, 2015 has unanimously passed the following Resolution moved by Dr. Abdul Sattar Rajper, MPA, Syed Awais Qadir Shah, MPA, Mr. Ghulam Qadir Chandio, MPA, Dr. Lal Chand Ukrani, MPA, Syed Sardar Ali Shah, MPA and Ms. Saira Shahliani, MPA:- 

This Assembly pays tribute to the heroic movement of anti-one unit by students in Sindh and strongly condemns the brutal attack by Police on peaceful procession in Hyderabad on 4th March, 1967 wherein scores of innocent youth were tortured and seriously injured. The Assembly salutes the sacrifices and continuous struggle of these heroes who succeeded in getting rid of the curse of one-unit.”

District-wise number/detail of corruption cases of Information Technology department registered during January 2009 to November 2013?

MR. MANZOOR HUSSAIN WASSAN, Minister for Anti-Corruption:

The Anti-Corruption Establishment Sindh has not registered any case against Information Technology Department during January 2009 to November 2013.

 *1912. MS. NUSRAT SEHER ABBASI: Will the Minister for Anti-Corruption be pleased to state:-

Number of police officers facing enquiries by the Anticorruption department under the prevention of corruption Act 1947 including their names present posting or position and stage of cases?

 ANSWER

MR. MANZOOR HUSSAIN WASSAN, Minister for Anti-Corruption:

(i)       There are 345 Police Officers, who are facing enquiries under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1947.

(ii)      The names, present posting and action taken against the police officers by this Establishment under the prevention of corruption Act, 1947, as well as the stage of their cases are at Annexure, placed on the table of the House.
