Summary of Proceedings

“This Assembly resolves and recommends to the Government to stop Malir Development Authority alloting lands of local inhabitants to the business enterprises and dislocating ancient villages/ gaveyards historic places, creating serious reservations in local population.”

“This Assembly pays tribute to the heroic movement of anti-one unit by students in Sindh and strongly condemns the brutal attack by Police on peaceful procession in Hyderabad on 4^th March, 1967 wherein scores of innocent youth were tortured and seriously injured. The Assembly salutes the sacrifices and continuous struggle of these heroes who succeeded in getting rid of the curse of one-unit.”

“On the auspicious occasion of International Women’s Day to be celebrated on 8^th March, Sindh Women’s Parliamentary Caucus pays rich tribute to Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and all women of the world who challenged the discriminatory practices against them, struggled and faced the problems for the rights of the women.”

“This Assembly is proud to commemorate the 104^th Anniversary of the International Women’s Day on March 8, 2015, and on this day, celebrated to honour the backbone of every society -its women- pays tribute to the dynamic women of Pakistan, who strive passionately for the betterment of the country, and its future, despite numerous substantial impediments, be they ethnic, cultural, economic, social, linguistic, educational or political; takes pride in the perseverance; appreciates the women empowerment policies, programs and legislations of the present democratic Government; and resolves to further the struggle to establish a just and equitable environment conducive for sustainable development of Pakistan.”

District-wise number/detail of corruption cases of Information Technology department registered during January 2009 to November 2013?

 ANSWER

MR. MANZOOR HUSSAIN WASSAN, Minister for Anti-Corruption:

The Anti-Corruption Establishment Sindh has not registered any case against Information Technology Department during January 2009 to November 2013.

 *1912. MS. NUSRAT SEHER ABBASI: Will the Minister for Anti-Corruption be pleased to state:-

Number of police officers facing enquiries by the Anticorruption department under the prevention of corruption Act 1947 including their names present posting or position and stage of cases?

 ANSWER

MR. MANZOOR HUSSAIN WASSAN, Minister for Anti-Corruption:

(i)       There are 345 Police Officers, who are facing enquiries under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1947.

(ii)      The names, present posting and action taken against the police officers by this Establishment under the prevention of corruption Act, 1947, as well as the stage of their cases are at Annexure, placed on the table of the House.
