1.    CALL ATTENTION NOTICE NO. 50 OF 2015;GIVEN NOTICE OF BY MR. MUHAMMAD HUSSAIN KHAN, MPA: The Honourable Minister for Home, Sindh may please to give answer / statement that the Operation cleanup against terrorists, target killers, and other criminals is going on in Karachi. During the operation various innocent workers and also the sympathizers of MQM and Police personnel are being killed, especially which belongs to Orangi Town, Qasba Ali Garh, and Nazimabad. Not a single Target Killer is arrested why reasons, thereof?

2.    CALL ATTENTION NOTICE NO. 69 OF 2015;GIVEN NOTICE OF BY ENGINEER SABIR HUSSAIN KAIMKHANI, MPA: The Honourable Minister for Finance, Sindh may please to give answer / statement that 479.0 (M) was allocated for Hyderabad city in the Province budget for year 2007-08 after 7 years 438.0 (M) have been releasing while 1032.0 (M) remaining is short fall for this unjustice nothing development works can be done for public of Hyderabad. Schemes for Schools, Hospitals, Colleges, Health, cleanliness and water supply and drainage are standing discontinued, Need Based increased in budget should be done and outstanding short fall many also be released so that addressed grievances of urban population of Hyderabad?

3.    CALL ATTENTION NOTICE NO. 80 OF 2015;GIVEN NOTICE OF BY MR. NISHAT MUHAMMAD ZIA QADRI, MPA: The Honourable Senior Minister for Education & Literacy, Sindh  may please to give answer/ statement that Asif School and Akhtar School situated in Green Town, Malir Halt, Karachi have demolished and occupied by the Land grabbers and Governor of Sindh also visited the site showed his deep concern but despite of passing so much time period but no action has been taken in this regard, and neither Minister for Education visited there nor took any notice of it;

If answer is in affirmative, the reasons thereof alongwith measures taken for rehabilitation/reconstruction of the same?

4.    CALL ATTENTION NOTICE NO. 108 OF 2015;GIVEN NOTICE OF BY MR. MUHAMMAD SALEEM RAJPUT, MPA: The Honourable Minister for Local Government, Sindh may please to give answer/ statement that Volume share under the head of OZT being paid to Municipal Corporation Sukkur and total number of employees and contract employees are working as now alongwith details of their Domiciles?

5.    CALL ATTENTION NOTICE NO. 105 OF 2015;GIVEN NOTICE OF BY SYED AMIR HYDER SHAH SHEERAZI, MPA: The Honourable Minister for Local Government, Sindh may please to give answer / statement that Town Municipal Administration Mirpur Sakro, District Thatta gets about Million of rupees per month. However , the area under the TMA is uncleaned at all, the streets are dark in the night drainage system is worst in condition and over flowed, no salaries are being paid to employees for several months?

V.       PRIVILEGE MOTION NO. 05 OF 2015; GIVEN NOTICE OF BY MR. NAND KUMAR, MPA REGARDING A RESOLUTION ON LOW PRESSURE OF GAS ISSUE WAS RAISED BY THE MOVER ON 8^TH APRIL, 2014 WHICH WAS UNANIMOUSLY PASSED BY THE ASSEMBLY. HOWEVER, THE SINDH GOVERNMENT HAS NOT TAKEN ANY ACTION IN THIS REGARD.

VI.     ADJOURNMENT MOTION NO. 05 OF 2014;GIVEN NOTICE OF BY MR. MUHAMMAD SHAHARYAR KHAN MAHAR, MPA/ LEADER OF OPPOSITION, PROVINCIAL ASSEMBLY OF SINDH REGARDING GOVERNMENT OF SINDH HAS INCREASED THE DRAINAGE CESS UPTO 100 RUPEES, WHICH IS UNJUSTIFIED.

 *1919. MS. NUSRAT SEHER ABBASI: Will the Minister for Fisheries be pleased to state:-

(a)   Is it a fact that license is issued by the government to establish fish farm;

(b)   If answer to (a) above is affirmative, the fees of the same?

 ANSWER

MR. JAM KHAN SHORO, Minister for Fisheries:

No.

Neither any license nor any fees is required to establish Fish Farm.

 *1929. MS. NUSRAT SEHER ABBASI: Will the Minister for Fisheries be pleased to state:-

Steps taken by the government for fisher folk in Keenjhar Lake, Thatta who are unable to earn their livelihood properly due to lake has been depleted?

 ANSWER

MR. JAM KHAN SHORO, Minister for Fisheries:

The following steps have been taken by the Government for Fisher Folk to earn their Livelihood.

(i)           Contract system of fishing rights in lake has been abolished. Therefore fishermen are now not the bonded labour of contractor.

(ii)          The license system has been introduced hence there is no middle man and income of poor fishermen is increased.

(iii)        Fixed net is installed @ K.B. Feeder lower to control the escape of Fish from the lake.

(iv)         Stocking of fish seed is made in the Lake every year.

Details of renovation and rehabilitation of Karachi Harbour?

 ANSWER

MR. JAM KHAN SHORO, Minister for Fisheries:

ADP Scheme namely “Rehabilitation & Renovation of Karachi Fish Harbour” has been completed in June 2012 at a cost of Rs. 507.865 (M). The main components of the scheme were:

A.     Procurement of Machinery & Equipment for handling port operation:

 B.     Up-gradation and modification of fishing boats:

·         Large Boat:  200 Nos. on 75:25 cost sharing basis by GOS and Boat Owners.

·         Small Boats on 90:10 cost sharing basis by GOS and Boat Owners.

(i)     Catatery-1 having Fish Hold      63 Nos.

(ii)    Category-2 having Fish Tank   275 Nos.

 C.     Survey & Feasibility Study for “Rehabilitation & Renovation of Karachi Fish Harbar”

*2273. MR. NAND KUMAR GOKLANI: Will the Minister for STEVTA be pleased to state:-

District-wise amount spent on trainees in various trades under the training project of Sindh Government?

 ANSWER

Statement showing District wise amount spent on trainees in various trades under BBSYDP Short Term Skill Development Program during the period 2009 to 2014 under Phases-II, III, IV & VI. Details are attached with break-up at Annexure, placed on the table of the House.

 *2837. MS. RANA ANSAR: Will the Minister for STEVTA be pleased to state:-

(a)   Is it a fact that STEVTA intends to establish new institutions in the province;

(b)   If answer to (a) above is affirmative, the details thereof?

 ANSWER

SYED QAIM ALI SHAH JILLANI, (Chief Minister) Minister for STEVTA:

(a)      Yes, as per its mandate Sindh Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority (STEVTA) intends to establish new institutes but at present main focus of the STEVTA is towards re-consolidation, up-gradation and strengthening of existing institutions to provide better quality training to youth.

(b)      However, as per directives of Honourable Chief Minister Sindh and Annual Development Program schemes, proposals for establishment of Vocational Training Center at the following places are under preparation.
