MUHAMMAD DILAWAR QURESHI, MPA: The Honourable Minister for Local Government, Sindh  may please to give answer/ statement that the land about 17 acres were kept for “Mini Zoo” as an amenity plot in Hyderabad Development Authority (HDA) Employees Housing Co-operative Society and the same was handed over to HMC for the Zoo purpose. Most of the leading newspapers revealed that the same land has been allotted illegally by the administration of the Society. The House wants to know the steps taken against the administration to save HMC land specified for Zoo?

 

2.    CALL ATTENTION NOTICE NO. 26 OF 2015;GIVEN NOTICE OF BY MS. NUSRAT BANO SEHER ABBASI, MPA: The Honourable Minister for Health, Sindh may please to give answer / statement that whether it is a fact that the service structure for the promotion as was constituted in 1994 has not continued and the promotion of Doctors those are waiting for their promotion since 1995 have not granted as per service rules time; if so the reasons therefore?

 

3.    CALL ATTENTION NOTICE NO. 01 OF 2015;GIVEN NOTICE OF BY SYED KHALID AHMED, MPA: The Honourable Senior Minister for Education & Literacy, Sindh may please to give answer/ statement that is it true that the Chief Minister, Sindh has imposed ban on all new schemes of construction, rehabilitation, up-gradation and renovation of educational institutions throughout Sindh? If, yes kindly inform that when this ban will be removed?

 

4.    CALL ATTENTION NOTICE NO. 28 OF 2015;GIVEN NOTICE OF BY MR. MUHAMMAD SHAHARYAR KHAN MAHAR, MPA/ LEADER OF OPPOSITION, PROVINCIAL ASSEMBLY OF SINDH: The Honourable Minister for Local Government, Sindh may please to give answer/ statement that Town Municipal Administration Lakhi, District Shikarpur gets about 13 Million rupees per month, however, the area under the TMA is not maintained at all. The streets are at its worst condition, there are huge garbage dumps in every corner of the Town. The drainage system is not being maintained or cleaned at all. The Graveyards and Eid Gahs acre also not being maintained. There are more than 500 employees and most of them are not even being paid regularly. The Minister may explain reasons of this inefficiency?

 

 5.    CALL ATTENTION NOTICE NO. 13 OF 2015;GIVEN NOTICE OF BY MR. IMTIAZ AHMED SHAIKH, MPA: The Honourable Senior Minister for Education & Literacy, Sindh may please to give answer / statement that the plight of Educational Institutions in the Province of Sindh is deteriorating day by day. The provincial government has failed to take necessary and effective measures to make the schools functional properly. There are certain school buildings but the students are forced to receive education under the open skies. There are various schools in the Province but they do not have furniture and students have no choice but to receive education by sitting on the floor. In Shikarpur there are various schools which have no furniture. If we look at the performance of Education Department they have hardly used 25 percent Development Funds. The question arises why this step-motherly treatment is meted out with the education of this Province?

RESOLUTION MOVED BY MR. MUHAMMAD SHAHARYAR KHAN MAHAR, MPA/ LEADER OF OPPOSITION, PROVINCIAL ASSEMBLY OF SINDH

“We condemn from the core of our hearts the barbaric, brutal and cowardly attack, on the Pakistan Army Public School, Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtun Khwa, on the 16th December of 2014 by Taliban that left behind 132 young students between the age of 06 and 14 years and some staff members dead and an equal number injured. We not only condemn but demand the arrest of culprits immediately so that they may be convicted and awarded exemplary punishment for this heinous crime.

We also convey our heartfelt message of condolence to the bereaved parent and their kith and kin that may Allah the Almighty keep their souls in peace.”


RESOLUTION MOVED BY MR. MAHESH KUMAR MALANI, MPA.

“This House condemns the barbaric, brutal and cowardly attack on the Army Public School Peshawar on 16th December, 2014 in which 142 students were martyred and several were injured and demands from Government of Pakistan to arrest the culprits and award exemplary punishment to them for this heinous crime.

This House also conveys heartfelt message of condolence to the bereaved families.”
